Yesterday, Wen took Sadie and the framed picture that she had posed for to the nursing home to attend a birthday party. Her friend, who is a resident there, was celebrating her 81st birthday and she was delighted to see Wen and especially pleased that she had brought Sadie along.
When it was time to open the presents, the framed photo of Sadie was a huge hit and at that moment, all of the frustration that went into getting Sadie to pose for the picture was totally worth it. To see how much dogs mean to people and how a photo of a little Scottie birthday present could make someone so happy was truly special and as an added bonus, Sadie was a perfect angel at the party!
