What happens when four dogs are introduced to a new toy that moves across the floor? All of us are definitely curious. What happens when the toy moves really fast and it travels in crazy patterns? A frantic chase ensues!
The other day, Wen placed a fuzzy spider toy on our living room floor and not only did the spider’s legs wiggle, but it zoomed across the floor. All four of us Scotties immediately sprang into action and the chase was on! The spider circled around, hit the wall, and kept on moving faster and faster until all of us were trying to grab it. We finally trapped it and I picked it up with my teeth and took out running with my sisters close behind me. Wen must have feared for the spider toy’s life, because she took it away from me and set it on the kitchen counter. A few minutes later, when she put the toy on the floor again and it took off, we Scotties were back on the chase and when I snatched it up again, all of a sudden it was back on the kitchen counter.
We had a good time with the toy and we got more riled up with each frantic chase, until the spider remained hidden from us avid spider toy hunters. That didn’t stop me from keeping watch for the spider’s return though and I stood guard in the living room, just in case it showed up. No silly spider toy was going to sneak past me!
