We Scotties are finally able to sit on our deck and enjoy the sunshine. Currently, we have been having beautiful weather and the last few days, Wen has been painting the deck, so we have had very little access to it. Evidently, the reason Wen had to paint the deck was because all the Scottie traffic going back and forth across the deck and the steps to the yard had chipped off some of the paint, so she thought that it was finally time to make it look nice again for the summer.
Just when we were sitting at the top of the steps this morning, soaking up the sun, Wen interrupted our sunning session and told us that it was time to come inside and get our teeth and haircoats brushed.
We had been having such a nice time watching for birds and squirrels, that all we could think was, “say it isn’t so!”
Of course, as soon as Wen finished with our morning brushing routine, we were right back out on the deck and we had reclaimed our spots in the sunshine. After all, we Scotties are nosy and we like to keep track of what’s going on in our backyard territory!
