Last week, Wen took my sister, Sadie, to the Rocky Mountain Scottish Terrier Club annual picnic. Sadie seems to like meeting people and she gets along really well with other dogs, so she was the obvious dog for Wen to to take to the picnic.
There were lots of Scotties running around the hosts’ property and it was an ideal place for the dogs to chase each other and go exploring, with a pasture adjacent to their huge yard.
After several hours of great food, good conversation, and the Scotties providing free entertainment with their antics, Wen brought Sadie home, where a little black dog immediately crashed on the couch for the night. From the looks of Sadie snoozing away, she must have had an overload of fun and exercise. In other words, she had a really great time at the picnic!
