Here in Colorado, you can never really trust that winter is over. Just when you are enjoying almost eighty degree weather, look out, because that spring snowstorm will sneak up on you.
That’s exactly what happened to us this week. It was warm and people were wearing shorts and sandals and the next day, it started to rain, which quickly turned into snow. We Scotties were enjoying our digging adventures in our backyard one day and the next, we’re back to plowing paths through the snow. It’s as if someone yelled “Come on, winter, one more time!” We all know that it could actually be multiple times though and as long as we get those warm days in between, we will survive until true spring shows up. Until then, it’s digging, plowing, digging, plowing!
