We Scotties were out in the backyard recently, doing our usual cruising and sniffing routine. All of a sudden, some birds flew overhead and landed high up in the neighbor’s tree. The birds were chirping away and the next thing we knew, Sadie had jumped up on the bench on the deck and she was looking toward the birds. Her nose was up in the air, pointing in the direction of the chirping as if she found the birds fascinating. Sadie sat there mesmerized, listening intently for the longest time. I guess that she found chirping birds in a tree even more interesting than dogs barking on TV!
