My sister, Molly just got home from having surgery today and Sadie and I were very glad to see her! Molly had a fast-growing lipoma on her side by her left rear leg and Wen was concerned that it had only recently popped up and was noticeably growing, so she took Molly in for a biopsy several weeks ago. The mass looked benign, but since it was getting larger, Wen decided to schedule Molly for surgery and today was the day.
The surgery went well and Molly is recovering, but to be safe, they sent the mass in for histopath to make sure that it wasn’t anything serious, so now we wait for those results.
Meanwhile, Molly is resting in her big cage with a cone on her head so that she can’t lick or chew on her sutures and we are all very happy to have her home again!
