All week long, Wen has been working on getting our donations prepared for the annual Scottie Rescue fundraiser this Saturday and they are finally ready to go. We’re donating a plush Scottie throw, a metal Scottie bench, three concrete Scotties that Wen painted, a basket full of Scottie goodies, and a basket of all vintage Scottie items which includes a Fala pull toy from the FDR era and a Black and White Scotch store display with the Scottie and Westie mascots and a race car.
The Scottie items are always really interesting and of course, I was snoopervising the entire process of arranging the items in the baskets, as I like to be involved and in the middle of everything.
Cross your fingers that the donations are popular items and that they bring in lots of money for the rescue Scotties in need, because they’re the reason that the Rocky Mountain Scottish Terrier Club members put on this event every year.
