Yesterday, Wen took Sadie and me to the Colorado Tartan Days festival in Longmont, Colorado. Our friend and her Scottie, Angus, went with us and we all worked in the Rocky Mountain Scottie Rescue booth for several hours. The weather had been iffy and we had snow at our house, but the sun was out in Longmont and it was much warmer there, so the festival drew lots of people to come see the Scottish clans, vendors, and enjoy the entertainment.
As per usual, we Scotties sat on a table in our booth and greeted the people as they came by to see us. We got lots of pets and enjoyed having our ears and backs scratched and all the extra attention we received. It’s fun being doggie ambassadors for our breed and all of the donations we received will benefit the rescue Scotties. Hopefully, the warmer weather today will draw even more people to the festival and the Scotties there will be a big hit, like we were yesterday!
