An Unusual Occurance

Sadie and I constantly hang out together on the couch and on our dog bed in front of the fireplace, but Molly and Sadie together?  That’s a highly unusual occurance.  Those two girls rarely do anything together and they’ve only played or snuggled up together maybe two times ever.  That’s why Wen took their picture when she happened to see them together.  It may not ever happen again!

Molly & Sadie

Last Game

Here we go, the last Broncos game of another dismal season, yet we are still fans!  We’ve suffered through way too many losses and celebrated a few surprising wins, because Broncos fans are loyal.

Murphy’s Law sums up what was a very disappointing season:  if it could go wrong, it did!  From the pandemic to injuries to uninspired play to missed opportunities, the season is going to be a forgettable one and all we can hope for is that next season is much better.  Actually way much better!

So for one last time, Go Broncos!  Your fans may be disappointed in general, but we’ll still be hoping for a win!

Dog Bed Dilemmas

Three Scotties and one dog bed can create some power struggles.  When the bed is in front of the fireplace, where we can feel the warmth, that dog bed is especially appealing and you can find either Sadie or I occupying it.  We normally switch off lying in the bed, but sometimes, both of us share the bed, but only if we are both in a good mood.

Normally, if Sadie is lying on the bed, I can walk up and claim a spot on the bed next to her, but if I am lying on the bed by myself and Sadie walks up to share the bed, depending how I feel, I may or may not let her.

Molly never lies on our dog bed if it is by the fireplace, but she will stake her claim on it when the bed is on the floor in the nook by the bookshelves.  She is a solutary bed user and Sadie and I don’t try to share the bed with her.

Recently, for the first time, Molly came up to me when I was on the bed in the nook and I didn’t want to share.  She’s a little bigger than Sadie and both of us wouldn’t have fit on the bed, so I gave her the stink eye and she left.

Isn’t it amazing how we Scotties work out our dog bed dilemmas without any human intervention?

Molly: Care to share? Riley: Not really!
