Neighborly Entertainment

What are the neighbors up to now?  Hard to figure out, but they seem to constantly provide us Scotties with free entertainment and since we’re nosy little characters, we’re always on the watch!

It’s Baaaaack!

Is that the Black Shadow sneaking by Molly?  Oh, my goodness, it’s baaaack!  Okay, not that it ever left, because Sadie, our little sister, also known as the Black Shadow, is not going anywhere.  Nope, she’s part of our family and one third of the Scottie population at our house.  And what does that mean for Molly and me?  A permanent Black Shadow following us around!

The Black Shadow

Every once in awhile, you can see the black shadow in our living room.  The black shadow is very quick to jump up on top of the couch or love seat and stake a claim. Sometimes the black shadow hangs out for awhile on its high perch,  but usually the black shadow moves quickly, so if you see it and look away, it will be gone.

Actually, the black shadow is not an it, it’s a her and she’s our sister, Sadie.  Blink once and she’s there, blink twice and she’s gone!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Today is Mother’s Day and we honor our mothers today.  It doesn’t matter if our moms are our birth moms or our adopted moms and it doesn’t matter if your kids have two legs or four legs.  Moms deserve a special day for everything you do and we love you all!

Double Trouble?

Are Molly and I what you’d call double trouble?  Nah, I’d have to say that we’re more like sweetie wheaties.  We may have a few bad habits like eating paper, digging holes, and eating dirt and landscaping bark, but all in all, somebody made a good decision when she brought us home as puppies, if I do say so myself!

Rainy Days and Mondays

Yep, it’s a rainy Monday and after we Scotties ate and cruised our yard, we settled in for some serious snuggling on the couch and our dog bed.  Can’t waste a chilly dreary morning, so we’re getting comfy, watching TV, and taking advantage of a “going back to bed” kind of day.  To paraphrase a famous song, Rainy days and Mondays always make us snooze…..
