You Rock!!!

Congrats to the Eric & Christopher photo contest winners who were chosen by their staff on May 14!  The winner of the dog category was Wrecker, a bulldog/boxer mix and we were a little disappointed at the news at first, but so happy and grateful to have had such amazing support from our Facebook friends!  Because of your votes, I was a top 10 finalist and my photos were featured on the Eric & Christopher website, which was a proud moment for us, so once again, a big THANK YOU to our Facebook friends!  You rock!!!

Now, I guess we’re on to the next challenge!

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

To everyone who voted for me in the Eric & Christopher photo contest last week, thank you, thank you, thank you!

There were 241 dogs entered in the contest and because of your votes, I was a top 10 finalist!  What an honor that was for this Scottie boy!

Here’s a picture of three of the finalists from the Eric & Christopher website and guess who that dog is in the middle photo?  Yep, it’s me, Riley and we SO appreciate all you wonderful people who took the time to vote for me!!!  What an exciting experience that was!!!

Hockey Fever

There is hockey fever going on at our house right now with the Colorado Avalanche in the Stanley Cup playoffs.  Wen is wearing her lucky Avs cap during the games and when they won their last game in overtime, there was so much yelling and screaming that we Scotties nearly jumped straight up off the couch!

What can I say?  Hockey fever seems to have affected us all!

Photo Contest

Hi, everyone!  So Wen has entered me in the 2024 Eric & Christopher photo contest online.  These are the two photos that she submitted and if you’d like, you can vote for me once a day from today until May 12 by clicking on the photo contest on their website.  (It’s free!)  Then click on ALL DOGS and put RILEY in the search bar for my photos to pop up.  Voting will determine the finalists and then the company will choose winners to be screen printed on their products.

Thank you so much for your support!  We really appreciate you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

No Missed Opportunities

When it comes to dog treats, we Scotties are super aware.  If we notice Wen moving toward our Milk-bones treat jar on the kitchen counter or opening a new box or bag of treats, we are right there, hoping to score a snack.

Let’s just say that we’d hate to miss an opportunity to grab something tasty.  Yep, there are no missed opportunities where treats are concerned.  Our Scottie ears are super tuned into any sound of food packaging and you can assure that all three of us will be right there to check out the possibility of snatching a yummy tidbit.

Let’s Go Avs!!!

After Sunday’s Avs game, Wen and her friend visited the team store at Ball Arena and along with hundreds of other fans, they did a little shopping.  Of course Wen found the section of Avs merchandise for dogs and she came home with something really cool:  a dog-sized Avs jersey (or sweater, as true hockey fans would call it).

Since we have all kinds of Avs memorabilia displayed at our house, it only seems appropriate that we Scotties can root for our favorite hockey team too while wearing a genuine Avs jersey.

Let’s Go Avs!!!

Last Blast

Yesterday was grooming day, so Wen took us Scotties to see Gigi, our groomer.  It was a gloomy rainy day and after we were dropped off, it started to snow and it wasn’t just a few flakes.  No, it was a full-fledged snowstorm and by the time that we were ready to go home, the highways were covered with slush and we had a long trip home in the snowstorm.

We arrived home to find about five inches of snow in our yard, but the snow eventually turned back into rain, which lasted for hours and got rid of some of the snow.

Just when we were hoping that it was finally spring, we were hit with one last blast of snow.  Well, we can hope it’s the last blast, but in Colorado, you never know!
