Par–ty!!!

Here it is, New Year’s Eve and b-r-r-r-r, it’s really cold and snowing.  We Scotties did our usual romp out in the yard while Wen cleared off the deck.  I could say that we were a big help, but that would not exactly be the truth.  Instead, we ran around and tried to dig holes down through the snow and chased the squirrel that was running across the top of our fence.

Happy New Year, everybody!  Let’s hope for a safe and fun New Year’s Eve and a great 2019!!!  Par–ty!!!

Every time that Wen calls us, we Scotties show up with the hope of getting a treat.  It doesn’t always happen, but since we are so food-driven, we never give up hope.  I guess that we are a good example of how well positive reinforcement can work.

You called???  Here we are.  Now how about rewarding us with something yummy!!

Best Present Ever!!!

We got a huge fabulous surprise for Christmas!  Wen’s best friend gave her a portrait of Kirby, my big brother, who passed away in 2013 when I was just a puppy.  She had a really talented artist paint Kirby from his calendar cover picture and it couldn’t have turned out to be a more perfect image of him.   Now we have this wonderful portrait of Wen’s favorite dog ever, my sister, Sunny’s brother and best friend of her whole life, and my big brother and mentor who showed me the ropes when I was just a little bitty guy.

We love you Kirby and you’re in our hearts forever and we love Wen’s best friend for giving us his portrait (best present ever!!!) so that he can be with us every day from now on!  Merry Christmas!!!
