It is well-known around here that I am the most experienced and cooperative model for photographs of the three of us Scotties. Not only has Wen taken thousands and thousands of pictures of me, dressed up or not, but I have done photo shoots with a professional photographer for a catalog and for calendars. I guess that I followed in the modeling tradition of Kirby and Sunny, who came before us and were great models, while my two sisters, not so much.
Molly, who is the most beautiful of all eleven of us Scotties through the years in our MacDuff clan, has very little patience for posing for photos (especially dressed up) and when she does sit still, her ears normally go back, plastered to her head as if she does not want her picture taken and she knows that flat ears won’t make for a good one, so she is contrary on purpose.
Sadie will barely sit still long enough for a photo to be snapped before she’s off and running away. Wen has to drag her back in position and then you can bet that Sadie will flop down and refuse to cooperate. It’s pretty much like pulling teeth to get a halfway decent photo of her and even worse, it’s a frustrating scenario and nearly impossible to get all three of us to pose together for a shot.
Here’s an example of Sadie being the reluctant model she always is. Wen put a cap on her and Sadie was so freaked out that she forgot to jump up and leave. The expression on her face though kind of tells it all. She was NOT a happy camper!
