What started out as a fun car ride yesterday turned out to be a trip to the vet. Wen took Sadie and me to see our vet, Dr. Nina, because we were due for our annual exams and vaccinations.
Sunny, Molly, and I used to go along with Wen every day when she worked at the veterinary clinic, so I was used to seeing all the sights there and I was happy to see some of our old friends, whom I immediately recognized. Sadie came along after Wen quit working there, so it was like a new experience for her, even though she had been spayed by Dr. Nina and had several prior exams there. She was her usual goofy friendly self though and she entertained Dr. Nina and Wen’s former co-workers, who thought that she was really cute.
We both took our vaccinations like little troopers and before we knew it, we were on our way back home, where Sunny and Molly greeted us and we all settled down for a nice nap on the couch. Yay, Sadie and I survived annual exam day for another year!
