My sister, Molly, is never thrilled to have her picture taken. When Wen sees Molly looking particularly cute and she tries to sneak up on her and take a picture, Molly will inevitably put her ears down so that the photo opportunity is ruined. Even when Wen calls us Scotties and we show up, only to realize that Wen is standing there, ready to take our picture, Molly always lags behind and ends up in the background. It’s as though she has a sixth sense about picture taking and she doesn’t want any part of it!
Molly’s reticence to have her picture taken leaves Wen with a dilemma: how to get a nice photo of her prettiest dog? Act very casual and then quickly surprise Molly? Distract her with toys and funny noises? Yes, well those things don’t seem to work, so Wen pretty much takes tons of shots and hopes that Molly will eventually look at her with her ears up and that takes lots of patience. It can be frustrating though and sometimes an ordeal, but it’s worth the trouble if Wen gets a good picture of her pretty girl that’s a keeper, which is a very rare occurrence!

Suspicious Molly
