My sister, Molly, is not only shy about meeting people, but she is also camera shy. When Wen tries to take a picture of her, Molly won’t sit still or when she does finally sit still for a few seconds, she will put her ears back and look the other way. It’s too bad, because Molly is the prettiest of all of Wen’s Scotties over the years and she is actually very photogenic.
I guess that it’s another case of “dogs will be dogs.” When Wen combs and brushes out Molly’s haircoat, Molly doesn’t like it and when Wen tries to put a costume on her for a photo shoot, Molly wiggles around and she isn’t exactly what you would call cooperative. The few really good photos of Molly have required lots of patience and persistence on Wen’s part or just plain luck in capturing her with a candid shot.
As cute as she is, Molly definitely doen’t act like a girly girl. Maybe it’s okay that she is camera shy and that she doesn’t seem to know that she is pretty. After all, she’s a rough and tumble Scottie girl who’s all terrier!
