When We Were Four….

There were four years when there were four of us Scotties, instead of the usual three.  In 2015, the three of us (Sunny, Molly, and I) were surprised when Wen came home with a little black Scottie puppy (Sadie) who was so cute that she couldn’t resist.

Sunny had endured losing Kirby, her wheaten brother she had lived with her whole life and Frosty, the rescue wheatie within a period of three months, but I had showed up as a puppy, as well as puppy Molly, so Sunny was never an only dog.  She did, however, have to act as if she was our doggie mother to show us pups the ropes.

Then, a couple of years later when Sadie showed up, there were four of us Scotties running around and Sunny had another puppy to raise, but we were a happy little band of four for the next four years.

Sadly, we lost Sunny in 2019 and our foursome became the threesome we are today, but when we were four, the three of us were really fortunate to have our fearless leader, Sunny, to watch over us and keep us in line!
