While going through her Scottie memorabilia, Wen recently came across a 1938 Woman’s Home Companion magazine cover. The Scottie puppy on the cover reminded her of my sister, Sadie with one ear up and one floppy ear.
She immediately had to look at Sadie and sure enough, the pup on the magazine cover had the exact same ear up and the same floppy ear as my sister. Obviously the puppy was still growing and one ear hadn’t stood yet and Sadie’s ear flops due to three hematoma procedures that left the cartilage too weak to stand, but they look like twins, so of course Wen had to take a picture of Sadie with the magazine cover.
