We seem to be in the middle of a three day stint of rainy weather for Memorial Day weekend and when we Scotties go outside, we come back in as soggy dogs. (A little rain doesn’t deter Molly and me from our obsession with digging holes though. As a matter of fact, the soft muddy ground is perfect for speedy digging!)
The rain will move Memorial Day celebrations inside with severe weather and thunderstorms expected, but we shouldn’t forget what the Memorial Day holiday is really about—honoring the brave people who made the ultimate sacrifice in order to keep our country safe.
We hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend, even if it’s a soggy one!
